How Helping Companies Better Train Employees has eLeap at $600k in MRR
As a scaling business, you need systems in place in order to get your newly on-boarded employees up to speed as fast as possible. If you don’t have a robust learning management system at your fingertips, growth can be significantly stalled.
eLeap is a simple, innovative, and trusted learning management system developed to make training easy for enterprises. Their system monitors employee progress, creates reports, incorporates advanced learning tools, and more, all available on mobile devices.
How much is eLeap doing in MRR?
eLeap is a pure-play SaaS business that charges its customers on a subscription basis. Clients negotiate terms on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis with the average deal coming in at around $580 per month.
With 1,035 total customers today, eLeap is doing $600k in MRR right now, according to CEO Don Weobong. The company experienced some SEO issues in the past, but grew revenue roughly 50% year over year and is up from around $400k in MRR twelve months ago.
What is eLeap’s churn?
Playing in the SMB space, churn has been an inherent struggle for eLeap to this point. At present, the company is exhibiting 5% gross revenue churn per month, but is driving around 2% expansion revenue with content service upsells.
In terms of landing new customers, eLeap targets businesses with between 300 and 1k total employees via outbound sales calls. They spend around $1,300 to land a new deal and receive payback within 3 months.

How much has eLeap raised?
Launched in October of 2005, eLeap has grown to scale with less than $100k in outside funding to date. The business used the small seed round to fuel development in the early stages of operation and Weobong has since bought out those investors. Today, Weobong and his wife are the sole owners of eLeap.
The eLeap team of 15 full-time employees is headquartered in Kentucky with associates in Europe and the Philippines.
