Rahul Mehta

Dubai resident Rahul Mehta remains on the Midas List due to a portfolio of investments that includes Snap, WhatsApp and Zalando, as well as more recently unicorns including DoorDash, Go-Jek, Flexport, Ola, Robinhood and Wish. He was a later-stage investor in Slack, the workplace collaboration company that went public via direct listing in June 2019, as well as Flipkart, acquired by Walmart in 2018. Mehta followed a double-down investment strategy in 2019, leading a third consecutive round in Robinhood and participating "significantly" in two DoorDash fundraises after leading one of its rounds in 2018. A member of DST Global since its founding in 2009 with a combined aggregate portfolio value of more than $150 billion, Mehta previously worked at Goldman Sachs London and at Mail.ru, the Russian email service cofounded by DST founder Yuri Milner.
