Prior to joining Espresso, he was the Founder and Managing Partner of Intrepid Business Acceleration Fund, a venture capital fund, and Managing Director of the advisory firm Intrepid Equity Finance. Alkarim started his finance career at Yorkton Securities, a boutique investment banking firm, eventually leading its information technology investment banking practice and co-managing two investment funds.
