We’re changing the EdTech space with intuitive AI writing tools to help students, content creators, and teachers reach their full potential. Smodin is a multilingual company focused on addressing the largest learning challenges facing students. Our mission is to provide users with intelligent technology that boosts their productivity and understanding. We offer a wide range of tools, including our industry-leading AI detector, our rewriter and humanizer tools, plagiarism detectors, and homework solvers that make writing as stress-free as possible. Created in 2017, Smodin started from founder Kevin Danikowski’s belief that every student or writer could excel with the right tools. Over five different careers and countless hours working with students of all abilities, he saw the same learning roadblocks come up again and again. One of the biggest hurdles? Writing an essay. This inspired him to create Smodin’s first tool: the Essay Writer. From there, Smodin built additional tools to speed up content creation—like a citation generator, text summarizer, and tools to detect and bypass AI. Today, Smodin serves millions of students, writers, and educators in 40+ languages.
