Nikitas is a partner at Insight Partners a 30 billion private equity firm investing in high-growth technology and software companies. Nikitas two main areas of focus are education technology and sales marketing automation. He is of the firm s experts in recurring revenue business models. He currently works with Academic Partnerships Campaign Monitor Conga Ensighten Epignosis Illuminate Education Ilumno Nearpod SpaceTime Games and Zaius. Nikitas co-founded Insight Onsite the firm s team of operations and strategy experts who help improve the performance of Insight s portfolio companies. Nikitas prior investments include Capella University IPO NASDAQ CPLA CloudCraze acquired by Salesforce eVestment acquired by Nasdaq Exact Target IPO acquired by Salesforce Football Fanatics acquired by GSI Commerce then eBay Frontline acquired by Thoma Bravo GenArts acquired by Boris FX Greenfield Online IPO acquired by Microsoft Realink acquired by Zaio Corp and Virgin Pulse acquired by Marlin Equity. Prior to Insight Nikitas co-founded and was the Chief Financial Officer of Citadon acquired by the Sword Group now part of McLaren Software a software-as-a-service company that became part of Insight s portfolio. Previously he served as an Associate with McKinsey Company working on strategy turnaround MA and corporate finance engagements. Nikitas co-authored a chapter titled Customer Lifetime Value Methodology and Applications for Operating Partners in The Operating Partner in Private Equity published by Private Equity International in 2011. He was named to the AlwaysOn Venture Capital 100 in 2012. Nikitas holds a BA from Princeton University summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa and an MBA with high distinction Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School. Nikitas and his wife Zineb Guessous live in Manhattan learning to play zone defense with their three children.
