Vartan is the Founder and CEO of Apomatix, a Next Generation Risk Management software company innovating the Risk Management industry by automation, workflows, data driven proprietary solutions, integrations and risk specific work management tools. Apomatix today is applied to manage Operational risks, Information Security risks, COVID19, Health and Safety, Quality, Corporate Social Responsibility, Physical risks and more. Prior to founding Apomatix, Vartan was: - Founder and CEO of two companies: HighTechTA (2004), an acoustic recognition software company and a music streaming service RawRip.com (2006), both exited in 2009 - Founding Director of the first Worldwide Cybersecurity Initiative (EastWest Institute), engaging 41 countries and C-Level executives of 300 critical organisations (Dell, Microsoft, Facebook, Vodafone, Reliance, Huawei and more) - Senior Advisor to Ernst & Young (EY) on Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity and Risk - Founder of a critical infrastructure encryption lab, sold after 2 years of operating - Founder of satellite cybersecurity encryption labs, both sold after 2 years - Founder of 2 encryption R&D labs, both successfully sold within 3 years of operating - Founding Partner of Knightsbridge Cybersystems, an early stage venture fund and accelerator - Earlier in his career Vartan was an Executive in Finance and Corporate Development at MGM Studios - Educated at the London School of Economics (LSE), Vartan holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Sciences and a double Master’s in Media and Communications.
