BlogVault employed 35 to 36 people full time as of May 2022, with over half of the team working as engineers. Nearly all employees are based in Bengaluru, India. Choudhary noted that Bengaluru offers access to top engineering talent but described the market as highly competitive.

The company pays senior engineers up to $100,000 per year, which Choudhary described as among the top compensation levels available in Bengaluru. The company does not offer equity options to employees. Instead, it runs a profit-sharing program in which 30 percent of profits is distributed annually to all employees who have completed at least one year of tenure. Payouts are calculated using a formula that weights both seniority grade and years spent at BlogVault, with longer tenure producing a compounding multiplier effect similar in structure to vesting equity. In 2021, the total profit-sharing payout was hundreds of thousands of dollars across the full team.
