Alan Vaksman

CEO

Alan is an experienced financial services executive with extensive investment banking, risk, and venture capital experience. Recent experience includes focus on venture capital investments in early stage Fintech and B2B SAAS companies. Alan is the managing partner and co-founder of Digital Horizon VC, early stage venture capital fund and venture builder. He is co-founder and director at YesGrowth UK. He also acts as an independent chairman GPB Switzerland and Director at Amsterdam trade bank and chairman of ANNA money U.K. Alan worked at international banks and leading consulting companies in South Africa, UK and Russia. From 2010-2019 he served as an executive board member at Gazprombank group started as the group CRO and subsequently becoming deputy CEO heading up corporate banking, digital assets and VC investments. He also served as a director at Mail.ru group. Prior to this, he was a partner at PWC where he headed "Capital Markets and Risk Management" practice in Central and Eastern Europe, risk executive in London's KPMG financial services advisory, programme manager for Goldman Sachs, London and a project manager in the strategy and innovation division at First National Bank, South Africa. Alan has economics and psychology bachelor degree, a postgraduate corporate law degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He also holds a MBA degree, from NYU Stern school of business (USA), LSE (UK), HSE (France) under TRIUM MBA program.
