Startups founded by women receive less than half as much funding as male-founded startups while generating more than twice as much revenue per dollar invested (BCG). Data shows that a warm introduction to a VC is 13 times more likely to lead to an investment than a cold pitch, but women are far less likely to have a warm introduction than all-male teams.
