Joe Sutcliffe, CFA, has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Joe is currently working as a Credit Research Analyst at GIC since April 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded the company Ocoya in January 2021, where they served as the COO and CFO. Before that, they worked as a Credit Research Analyst at Loomis, Sayles & Company from September 2020 to April 2023. Earlier in their career, Joe worked at Stifel Financial Corp. as an Equity Research Analyst. Joe initially joined as an Analyst in the Global Energy sector from September 2018 to February 2020 and later received a promotion to Associate in the same field from February 2020 to September 2020. During their time at Stifel, they focused on primary research coverage of DNO, Genel Energy, and Gulf Keystone, and also served as a secondary analyst for 20 other stocks. Before joining Stifel, Joe worked as an Investment Analyst at Coutts from September 2017 to August 2018. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Summer Analyst at DWS Group in 2017. Prior to that, they had internships at Coutts and Citi in 2016 and 2013, respectively. Joe started their career in the finance industry as a Customer Services Officer at Yorkshire Bank in 2015. Overall, Joe Sutcliffe has accumulated extensive experience in roles spanning research analysis, co-founding a company, and various internship positions.
