His mission is to improve writing globally, helping each person become a confident, proficient writer. Improving writing helps people better structure and communicate their thoughts, required skills for increasing the world's velocity for accomplishing big, meaningful things. The company he founded, Prompt, aims to make people better writers. They deliver online English writing courses, one-to-one writing coaching and feedback, and a writing-specific LMS and instruction delivery platform. Prompt is growing at 2x per year and is already the leader in writing feedback focusing on higher-order writing skills (content, structure, clarity). He is a writer, having written extensively on such topics as writing education, professional writing, college admissions essays, and interview preparation. Before that, he was the first employee (2nd person) at Airware, a Y Combinator and VC-backed drone start-up ($100M funding), and he spent 4.5 years at McKinsey after graduating from MIT.
