Gold joined Intermedia in 2011 when he and former SAVVIS CEO Phil Koen partnered with private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Partners to acquire the company from its founder. In February 2017, Oak Hill Capital Partners, with the assistance of Gold and the other members of senior management, completed the sale of the company to current private equity sponsor, Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP), and management.
