Leading in IT Strategy and Planning, Ed has extensive team building and operational management experience in creating and leading multiple technology projects and management teams into a stable technology environment. Former CIO (Commissioner of IT) In Nassau County Government: responsible for managing a 40M+ dollar IT annual budget for 8 years. Established policy and procedures that met and far exceeded IT standards and successfully, reduced costs over time by insourcing critical IT services. Ed was the IT Legislative representative and presented all Information Technology items for approval that went before the Nassau County legislature from 2010 to 2018. Former Director of Technology at Rent-A-PC, Inc. a national technology management company currently known as Smart Source. In 2003, a Network Services department was lead by Ed Eisenstein under the CFO that brought professional services to their national offering. Information Technology Consultant working with leading technology companies in New York implementing and supporting small to enterprise Network Infrastructure projects nationwide. The first enterprise deal ed ever had was when he Sold and Project managed the first year of technology spending in Smithtown School District in 1995 where each classroom received 4computers on a lantastic Network in every other classroom. Ed Found and created the bid response, Won the bid, managed the deal, repeats the process many times to where he continues to grow on his experience and expertise. Currently the CEO of United Network Associates, Inc., a leading IT consultancy and technology service organization serving the clients globally with a focus on New York City and the Metro area. Specializing in Comprehensive IT Solutions and technology strategies for companies and governments, UNA has a history of successfully implementing, managing and currently supporting network infrastructure and security technology for IT directors, Information technology officers or the client directly.
