Hizam Ismail is the co-founder and CEP of Rely, a leading "buy now pay later" platform that enables retailers to tap on the evolving needs of Millennials and Gen Z shoppers and power a brand new shopping experience for their stores. Driven by his insights as a Millennial and his experiences in the alternative lending space, Hizam and his co-founders launched Rely in 2018, a platform that enables retailers to offer shoppers the ability to split their purchase into interest-free payments at the point of sale. The consumer-centric solution helps drive uplift in key metrics for retailers without any risk. Hizam oversees the product and capital strategy or Rely, supporting the adoption of the "buy now pay later" concept in the region. Rely is not the top rated "buy no pay later" service among the next generation of shoppers, supporting large enterprise and SME retailers such as Qoo10, SK Jewellery Group, JD Sports and Secretlab. Hizam graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology with a major in economics and finance.
