Since the company's inception, Shawn has led over 30 acquisitions of websites and technology companies in addition tocompleting over $450 million worth of equity and debt financings for Demand. Prior to founding Demand Media, Shawn was a principal with Spectrum Equity Investors, a $4 billion private equity firm. He holds a B.S.E. in Civil Engineering and Operations Research from Princeton University. Shawn also sits on the Board of Directors of KCRW, Southern California’s leading National Public Radio affiliate and is a recognized tastemaker for new music from around the world.
