Ajit Gupta is a Silicon Valley entrepreneuer and founder of Aryaka Networks, AAyuja, JantaKhoj and Speedera Networks. Under his leadership, content delivery network Speedera became one of the fastest-growing private companies in Silicon Valley and in the North American technology industry, as ranked by both Deloitte & Touche andPricewaterhouseCoopers. Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ: AKAM) acquired Speedera in 2005 for a stock transaction worth more than $500 million within one year. He founded JantaKhoj in 2009, a premium background verification service provider that built the first and largest people search engine covering more than 500 million Indians. In the same year, he founded Aryaka, a Software Defined Network Platform and the world's first cloud-based WAN optimization and Application Acceleration solution. He remains active as Chairman of AAyuja, a Sales and Marketing enablement and consulting firm he founded in 2006 for mid-sized technology companies. He has worked with premier global VC firms to raise more than $100 million to fund these successful ventures. Mr. Gupta holds 21 technology patents for Internet content delivery and global traffic management. He is a Notable Alumni of the Indian Institute of Technology-Roorkee (IITR) and a Founding Board Member of IITR's Heritage Fund.
