I'm co-founder and CEO of Ampersand Health. We're creating personalised digital therapeutics for complex long term conditions, including IMIDs and rare diseases. We're a social purpose company. Our primary objective is to improve the health and quality of life of patients with inflammatory conditions like Crohn's, Colitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Atopic Dermatitis. We are collaborative by nature. Our behavioural- and data-scientists work with other subject matter experts, including leading clinicians, patient groups and industry to develop effective therapeutic programmes, focused on quality of life, optimum adherence and mental wellbeing. We also work with the NHS, helping clinicians at over 40 hospitals keep tabs on patients remotely, avoiding unnecessary hospital appointments and reducing the overall cost of care. Ampersand Health is recognised in the Digital Health Global 100, The DIT First 100 and has won awards from the HSJ, Innovate UK, the NHS and others. The company was selected for the 2018/19 PWC Scale Health programme, the NHS’s 2019/20 DigitalHealth.London accelerator and Techforce 19. I like to do a little bit of everything in the company but my main focus is on partnerships, product and advocacy for better models of long term care.
