Prior to founding Digital+ Partners, Axel was a Partner at McKinsey and led the Chinese and North East United States Automotive & Assembly practices living both in Beijing and in New York City. He is considered a thought leader on industrial internet, electro-mobility, smart cities, and autonomous vehicles. Axel holds a Diplome de Grande Ecole and an MSc from ESCP Europe and a PhD in engineering from TU Berlin.
