In addition to his ongoing work at the helm of Fanatiz, Matias is a seasoned entrepreneur, having helped launch four other successful organizations: Start-Up Chile, Reforestemos Foundation, Jump Chile and Healyx Labs. He earned an Industrial & Computer Science Engineering degree in 2010 from Chile’s Catholic University, holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was recognized with the 2016 Miller Social Change Leadership Award, and has studied at both Harvard University and Singularity University. Besides his day to day work at Fanatiz, Rivera is actively involved in non-profit and social impact activities, serving as Chairman of Reforestemos Foundation, the boards of Patagonia Sur and Fundación Lealtad Chile, and as a member of the Chilean Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy. He is also a member of Millenium Leaders ML50 (www.g-50.org), a select group of outstanding Latin American professionals under the age of 40.
