IVA (getiva.ai) is an early-stage enterprise customer support automation company founded in mid-2023 by Valdis Sprogis and co-founder Zeno. The company builds AI-powered chat tools designed to reduce customer support costs and accelerate response times for brands in the e-commerce, travel, and hospitality sectors. At the time of the November 2023 interview, IVA was approximately four to five months old, pre-revenue, and bootstrapped. Sprogis and Zeno had each invested a few thousand dollars of personal capital to fund operations, with a team of roughly six people in total. The company was preparing to launch its first two paid pilots, one structured as a flat $5,000 upfront fee and the other at $149 per month. Sprogis brought to the venture a background in business development, sales, and project implementation across CRM, startups, scale-ups, and unicorns, work he said helped clients achieve cost savings exceeding $100 million in aggregate. IVA's stated product targets include cutting customer support costs by as much as 97 percent and delivering responses to customer queries in ten seconds or less.
