Sam brings technical depth and operational experience in a variety of fields including advanced materials, nanosensors, nanoelectronics, photonics, semiconductor physics, alternative energy technologies, printed electronics, biotechnology, and medical devices. Sam holds over 20 patents in the areas of nanotechnology, self-assembly, photonics, and advanced materials. Sam holds a MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Dual PhD in Electrical Engineering and Nanotechnology from the University of Washington.
