Limelight Health had 13 employees at the time it made its first carrier pivot in 2015, roughly one year after founding. By the time of the FINEOS acquisition in August 2020, headcount had grown to 140 employees.

Andrew noted that approximately 80 of the 140 employees at the time of the sale were accomplished musicians, a reflection of a deliberate culture-building effort led by co-founder Garrett Viggers. The company hosted live music events for customers and partners starting in 2020 when COVID-19 prevented in-person gatherings. FINEOS subsequently adopted the practice and had hosted eight concerts globally as of the 2022 interview. Limelight Health also became the music sponsor for what Andrew described as the largest InsureTech event globally, a sponsorship that was in its third consecutive year as of 2022.
