CEO
A Digital Media pioneer, Massey founded Internet TV company maniaTV over a decade ago and raised capital to grow the company from leading Venture Capitalists Benchmark Capital and Intel Capital. As CEO Massey leveraged new technology to pioneer digital television, broadcasting over 25,000 music videos and pop-culture entertainment online with Hollywood talent. Massey worked with every major advertising agency and top 200 youth marketer to grow the company to $10 Million run-rate, profitability and to secure a nearly $100 Million buyout offer from Viacom. The Venture Capitalists declined the offer and Massey sold some shares and became Chairman to let the VCs execute their "Yahoo" strategy. Prior to maniaTV, Massey launched a company for Forbes, Inc. and then young men's P.O.V. Magazine which was named Adweek's Startup of the Year as well as Adweek's Top 10 Up & Comer. Massey was named in Folio's "30 under 30". Massey has been interviewed by innumerable media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, CNN, The New York Times, Associated Press, Advertising Age, Adweek, Mediaweek, and more. As well as having been an invited speaker at many industry events.
