Missive Leadership Team & Executives

Missive operated with a team of four people as of April 2021, Philippe Lehoux told Latka. The team consists of three co-founders and one employee. One of the original four co-founders departed approximately three years before the interview.

Lehoux described the team's working style as highly focused and largely asynchronous, with minimal internal communication beyond brief chat messages. He said his wife had observed that the team almost never talks to each other, which he framed as a feature rather than a problem. Of the three remaining co-founders, one serves as CTO handling server management and code review, one identified as Etienne handles front-end development and design, and Lehoux works across new features, customer support, and product development. A separate data point from a later period indicates the engineering team numbered three people, consistent with this structure.
