I started my career at Savi Technology (Savi) as a Design Engineer right after graduating from Stanford University. Over the years, I was promoted to VP of Engineering and COO of Savi. As COO, I helped in the sale of Savi to Texas Instruments. A few years later, as CEO, I helped lead the management buyout of the company. With the help of key venture funds Vector Capital, Accel Partners, Temasek; strategic partners Hutchison Whampoa, Oracle, and UPS and an incredible group of employees, transformed Savi to be the pioneer in leveraging RFID technology to track the movement, contents, and security of cargo containers worldwide, via both public and private clouds. This was the first practical application of the “Internet of Things.”
