Since 2021, he is the head of SIZ energieplus at the Technical University Braunschweig. He has a university degree in Architecture from Technical University Braunschweig and also received may Ph.D. from TUBS in 2013. His scientific work comprises numerous monitoring projects of innovative buildings, the development of software tools for energy and quality management, and research projects both on the national and international level. His work includes cooperation with other disciplines among which are software engineers, psychologists, and building chemists.
