Updater’s Home Services Division provides innovative technology that simplifies the purchase of home subscription products across telecommunications, cable, satellite, home security, home improvement and home energy. MoveHQ, a subsidiary of Updater, provides widely-used technology that helps moving companies run their businesses, from driver applications to warehouse management solutions, and more. Updater has raised over $120 Million in growth capital and is backed by Fidelity International, Softbank Capital, IA Ventures, Second Century Ventures (the strategic investment division of the National Association of REALTORS), Commerce Ventures, and over 10 other institutional funds. Updater has over 200 full time employees and over 400 contractors working to reinvent the moving experience. In Crain's list of Best Places to Work in NYC, Updater has ranked in the top 10 multiple times in recent years (and the top ranked tech company in NYC in 2016).
