Are Traasdahl is a technology entrepreneur and investor. He is currently founder and CEO at Crisp, a programmatic commerce company aimed at optimizing the food and beverage supply chain through AI, automation and analytics. Crisp believes we can greatly reduce food waste, improve access to food and cut costs from the supply chain with the smart useof technology. Traasdahl is a contributor on technology topics for outlets such as CNBC and Bloomberg News, and has been featured in Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, Ad Age and other major news outlets. Traasdahl holds several board positions at technology start-ups and heads Spring Capital, an investment holding company. Prior to Crisp and Tapad, he founded Thumbplay, a mobile technology service that he grew to more than $100 MM in less than 3 years before he exited the company (the company, later acquired by Clear Channel, is now called iHeartRadio).
