Benjamine Liu co-founded Formation Bio, the New York drug development company formerly known as TrialSpark, and serves as its CEO. The company operates as an AI-native pharma business, in-licensing drug candidates from biotech and pharma partners and running their clinical development in-house. Liu studied biology at Yale, earned an MPhil in computational biology at Cambridge as a Paul Mellon Scholar, and pursued a PhD at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar before starting the company with co-founder Linhao Zhang.
