Silvrback began as a personal project of Damian Sowers, who built the minimalist blogging platform after failing to find an existing tool that gave writers a distraction-free format together with ownership of their own data and audience. The product targets writers and programmers who want simple, uncluttered publishing. Sowers is also the founder of Level Frames.
