David Lod was appointed CEO of VEERUM in late 2018, four years after the Calgary company was founded by Amit Varma and Scott Benesh. VEERUM builds digital-twin technology that gives heavy-industry teams a remote, exact replica of project sites for asset management and construction monitoring. Lod previously ran data centre facilities as a VP at Shaw Communications, led enterprise sales at Rogers Communications, and was co-owner and executive vice president of Pivot Data Centres, acquired by Rogers in 2013.
