Strategic CFO with focus on leading emerging technology companies to scale. I help growth companies have great IPOs or exits. As chief financial officer of Chef Software Evan Fein oversees the companys finance accounting legal and corporate development activities. He led Chef through its successful acquisition by Progress Software in October 2020. Evan brings more than 25 years of financial management experience to Chef Software having led several public and private equity financings and numerous debt financings. Prior to Chef he served as CFO of Impinj from 2000 to 2018 where he led the company through a successful IPO and follow-on raising more than 100M. Evan began his career as general manager of operations at T-Mobile from 1995 to 2000 where he led financial planning and corporate development activities. Evan serves as a board member for the Washington Technology Industry Association WTIA and the University of Washington Center for Leadership and Strategic Thinking. He previously served on the board of the King County Sexual Assault Resource Center and The Technology Alliance. Evan serves as a board advisor to numerous technology companies. He is also an active angel investor. Evan has received numerous financial industry accolades. Most recently he was awarded the 2019 Most Innovative CFO by Armanino. Evan founded the Seattle Tech CFO professional group in 2011 which now consists of 100 Seattle based CFOs from the regions most innovative companies. Evan earned a bachelor s degree in mathematics from the University of Washington and a master s degree in business administration from the University of Washington. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two children.
