James Ciesielski co-founded Ottawa-based Rewind with Mike Potter in 2015 and serves as its chief technology officer, building the backup and recovery software that protects business data on cloud platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and QuickBooks Online. A University of Waterloo computer science graduate, he spent more than two decades building scalable software in telecommunications, media, and financial technology, and was named to Ottawa's Forty Under 40 in 2019.
