Graduated with a Master's degree in Statistical Mechanics and a Doctorate from the National Polytechnic Institute of Grenoble, Pierre-Marie Lehucher begins his professional career in the public sector. Later, he created a Research and Development company in mathematical modeling for the Environment and Climate. In 1996, he sold the company to the Suez Group. In 2002 he joined Berger-Levrault as Director of Strategy. In 2006, he assumed the presidency of the subsidiary Ediciones. In 2008, he was appointed CEO and, as of 2014, assumes the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, in addition to the one he already held.
