Lyon’s experience combines investing and entrepreneurship.Lyon is passionate about product and teams, having led several of the most critical areas of Microsoft Windows (Search and Storage). Lyon holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he co-led the Venture Capital and Greater China Business clubs. He also holds a SystemsDesign Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo. Lyon is passionate about mentoring teams and has spent years studying in depth how teams form, grow and perform. Through Lyon’s research, he has observed how teams work in all phases of growth. Team formation and team architecture are unique insights that Lyon offers and he helps apply specific tools/algorithms to systematically drive team performance breakthroughs. Lyon has mentored teams from Stanford, Waterloo, Berkeley, Google, Microsoft, and Palantir.
