Bio
Martin Gallardo is the CEO of Onde, a bootstrapped white-label ride-hailing software company headquartered in Poland. He joined Onde approximately six months before this June 2026 interview, recruited by the founders who sought a professional CEO to scale the business. Prior to joining Onde, Gallardo was the CEO of a payment gateway company based in Saudi Arabia, and was also running his own fractional strategy consultancy before accepting the Onde role. Gallardo describes his compensation structure at Onde as performance-linked, modeled after what he calls an Elon Musk-style equity package tied to growing the company ten times in value. He was approximately 40 years old when he joined. His background in payment gateways informed his understanding of volume-based pricing and discount structures, which he has applied to Onde's revenue-share model. At Onde, Gallardo inherited a bootstrapped SaaS business that had reached $10 million in ARR in 2024 after fifteen years of operation, serving 150 customers across 70 countries with $350 million in annual GMV. Monthly revenue as of mid-2026 was approximately 900,000 euros with roughly 100,000 euros in monthly profit. He is pursuing a pivot strategy that includes launching Onde's own consumer ride-hailing brand in Poland, backed by approximately 20,000 drivers ready to switch from Uber and Bolt, and developing a robotaxi infrastructure franchise concept he describes as mobility hubs.
