Matt Cooper served as CEO of Skillshare, the New York-based online learning community for creative and entrepreneurial classes, from 2017 until stepping down in August 2025, when Paul Slavin succeeded him. Before Skillshare he was CEO of Visually, an online marketplace for creative work acquired by ScribbleLive in 2016, and earlier ran enterprise and international operations as a vice president at oDesk, the freelancing platform now known as Upwork.
