Bio

Nick Telson-Sillett is the Co-Founder and CMO of Trumpet, a UK-based AI-powered sales execution platform. He built his first startup, Design My Night, a nightlife booking and discovery platform described as "open table, but for bars", in his early twenties in London. Telson-Sillett bootstrapped Design My Night, raised half a million dollars from angels, and spent seven to eight years building it before exiting. Design My Night was sold to a UK software house for over $30 million, with approximately 60% paid upfront and 40% in earnout, which Telson-Sillett completed just before COVID hit. During the gap between companies, he and co-founder Andrew invested in over 50 startups and Telson-Sillett hosted a podcast called Pitch Deck for six seasons on Spotify. He spent four to five months ideating on six or seven new business concepts before co-founding Trumpet in 2021. At Trumpet, Telson-Sillett leads brand and marketing as CMO, having built the company's distinctive B2C-style B2B brand from day one. He has grown his LinkedIn following to 40,000 and architected Trumpet's signal-capture growth engine using Clay, HubSpot, HeyReach, and Instantly. Trumpet has raised approximately $8 9 million in total funding, serves over 5,000 paying customers including HubSpot, Gong, and Stripe, and is generating north of $8 million ARR growing over 150% year-over-year.
