A former John Deere sales and marketing manager, Patrick Zelaya founded HeavyConnect in Salinas, California in 2015 and serves as its CEO. The company's mobile farm management app digitizes daily workflows such as employee timekeeping, field reports, and equipment tracking, and early adopters included growers like Dole, Driscoll's, and Fresh Express. At Deere he led sales for the Central California dealer network; he holds an MBA in international management from St. Ambrose University and a sociology degree from Arizona State University.
