As GM, North America e-Mobility for Enel X (formerly Chief Marketing & Operating Officer at eMotorWerks), Preston Roper has brought more than two decades of experience forming and growing innovative marketing, sales, and operations teams at high-growth technology companies, including Honeywell, NetDynamics (acquired by Sun Microsystems/Oracle) and Synopsys (IPO). Under his leadership, eMotorWerks was acquired by Enel, and scaled operations globally. As a strategic advisor, he has helped advanced energy companies such as Stem, Bidgely, and WegoWise set product strategy, raise capital, and launch innovative software and hardware solutions. Previously he served as CMO & VP Corporate Development and EVP of Operations & Marketing at Cogenra (acquired by SunPower) and Tioga Energy (acquired by sPower), respectively. In addition to renewable energy, he brings expertise in SaaS, business intelligence, and enterprise software.
