Bio

Roni Szigeti is the co-founder and CEO of FieldFlō, a vertical SaaS platform purpose-built for the asbestos abatement and demolition industry. Szigeti grew up in the abatement and demolition world, spending roughly ten to twelve years working at companies including Orion, CES, and LVI (now North Star), progressing from field roles to a vice president position at a mid-to-large demolition and abatement company before pivoting to software. Between approximately 2011 and 2016, Szigeti stepped away from the industry to pursue a master's degree in international business, focusing on global enterprise management. His thesis project led him to found a venture called Huami, which he describes as conceptually similar to what later became MasterClass, roughly four years before that platform launched. After completing his graduate work, Szigeti returned to the construction world and began sketching out the idea for what would become FieldFlō, drawing wireframes by hand on paper and enlisting two developer friends, Angelico and Ryan, to build the first version in approximately two to three months. He paid himself $30,000 per year for three to four years during the early bootstrapped phase rather than drawing on the small amount of startup capital he raised from friends. Roni Szigeti co-founded FieldFlō in 2016 alongside Brittany Scoo, with the first customer contract signed in August 2017. The company bootstrapped from roughly $140,000-$150,000 in first-year revenue, broke the $1 million revenue mark around 2020 or 2021 during the COVID-19 period, and scaled to approximately 240 customers before taking a minority investment in 2023. In October 2025, Mainsail Partners made a $35 million growth investment in FieldFlō. By June 2026 the company had grown to approximately 470 customers and 70 employees, with an average ACV of roughly $14,000, at least one enterprise account exceeding $1 million per year, and a stated growth target of 60-65% for 2026.
