After a stint at German e-commerce firm Rebate Networks, SengTeong Chua returned to Malaysia and co-founded Predictry with Kevin Gorges in 2013, running the Petaling Jaya startup as CEO. Predictry built recommendation engines and predictive-analytics services that helped online retailers personalize what shoppers see. Chua holds an MBA from INSEAD and an electrical and electronics engineering degree from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, and later moved into electric-vehicle infrastructure as managing director of the Malaysian charging network ChargEV.
