Bio
Evernote, the cross-platform note-taking application, was founded by Stepan Pachikov, a Soviet-born entrepreneur who envisioned the product as an extension of human memory. Earlier in his career he founded ParaGraph International in 1989, whose handwriting-recognition software was licensed by Apple and which was acquired by Silicon Graphics in 1997, and he also founded the document-recognition company Parascript.
