Michael A. Lawler became the CEO of Fullsteam in April 2018. Prior to this, Michael was the President-Strategic Markets Group at Heartland Payment Systems (NYSE: HPY) from June 2012 to April 2016, before the acquisition of Heartland by Global Payments. Michael was responsible for leading the company’s presence in various vertical markets including K-12, higher education, micropayments, biller direct, petroleum, e-commerce and other segments of the company’s SME payment processing. In addition, he was responsible for most of the company’s M&A during his tenure. Prior to becoming President, he served in other positions at Heartland including Chief of Corporate Development, Executive Director and as a consultant since October 2008.
