In April 2012 I created a facebook page called Adventures in Washington. The page is to encourage tourism in the state of Washington. My goal is also to reach those who live in Washington making it easy to find activities close to home just outside their back door. I want to share the Washington I grew up in with everyone. This adventure started when my husband Rick Weiss and I became involved with hydroplane boat racing in 2009-2012. It was then I realized there are many activities just outside our back and close to home in various communities and state wide. Hydroplane boat racing took us on adventures we never dreamed of. I like to think there are other people out there looking for things to do and see in the State of Washington. I want to make these activties and adventures easy to find.
