Wix Revenue: How the Website Builder Reached $1.99 Billion in 2025
Wix closed 2025 with $1.99 billion in revenue, up 13%, and is growing mid-teens in 2026. Every figure here is dated and sourced to the company's own filings — including the ones we corrected from the earlier version of this article.

On this page
Wix generated $1.99 billion in revenue in 2025, up 13% from $1.76 billion in 2024. Those are the company's own numbers, reported in its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 release on March 4, 2026. Growth has since ticked up, not down: on August 4, 2026, Wix reported second-quarter revenue of $563 million, up 15% year over year, and guided full-year 2026 bookings and revenue to mid-teens percentage growth. On a run-rate basis, the company said total annualized recurring revenue reached $1.963 billion in Q2 2026.
Wix is public (Nasdaq: WIX), which makes this one of the easier revenue questions to answer precisely — every figure below comes from a dated filing or press release, and we link them all at the bottom.
Wix revenue by year, 2019–2025
Wix reports full-year results every February or March. Here is the revenue line as the company itself has reported it, release by release:
| Year | Revenue | Growth | Reported |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2019 | $761.1M | — | FY2020 release, Feb 17, 2021 (comparison figure) |
| 2020 | $988.8M | +30% | FY2020 release, Feb 17, 2021 |
| 2021 | $1,269.7M | +29% | FY2021 release, Feb 2022 |
| 2022 | $1,388.1M | +9% | FY2022 release, Feb 2023 |
| 2023 | $1,561.8M | +13% | FY2023 release, Feb 2024 |
| 2024 | $1,761.0M | +13% | FY2024 release, Feb 19, 2025 |
| 2025 | $1,990M | +13% | FY2025 release, Mar 4, 2026 |
2026 is tracking above this line: Q2 2026 revenue grew 15% y/y and management guided the full year to mid-teens growth (Q2 2026 release, Aug 4, 2026).
The shape of that curve tells the real story. The pandemic pulled everyone online and Wix grew 30% in 2020 and 29% in 2021; the hangover cut growth to 9% in 2022. Since then the company has settled into a steady 13–15% band — slower than the COVID years, but now profitable: 2024 was the first year of positive GAAP operating income in Wix history, per the February 2025 release, and 2025 free cash flow was $573 million, about 30% of revenue excluding acquisition-related costs.
Where the $1.99 billion comes from
Wix reports two segments. In 2025, Creative Subscriptions — the core website-builder plans — brought in $1.41 billion, up 11%. Business Solutions — payments, e-commerce transaction revenue, Google Workspace resale and the like — brought in $583.3 million, up 18%. The faster-growing slice is the one that monetizes what happens on the sites, not the sites themselves.
One cut of the data worth knowing: Wix said revenue from “Partners” — agencies, freelancers and resellers building on the platform, its Studio product included — reached $750.3 million in 2025, up 23%. Wix's future growth case leans heavily on professionals, not just DIY site owners.
The freemium math, done honestly
Wix's 20-F annual filing for 2024 counted 282.4 million registered users at the end of 2024 (263.1 million a year earlier), and the company's Q2 2026 materials put the figure around 317 million. Against that, Wix ended 2025 with 6.11 million paying premium subscriptions.
Divide those and the freemium funnel converts roughly 2% of registered users into paying subscribers. That sounds low next to the numbers often thrown around for this company — an earlier version of this article claimed a 10% conversion rate, which at 240 million users would have implied 24 million paying customers, four times what Wix actually reports. Two percent of a third of a billion people is the honest arithmetic, and at an average of well over $300 of revenue per premium subscription per year, it is a very good business.
From 2006 to a $127 million IPO — not a $10 billion one
Wix was founded in Tel Aviv in 2006 by Avishai Abrahami (still CEO today), his brother Nadav Abrahami, and Giora Kaplan, around a simple observation: building a website required either code or a developer, and most people had neither.
The company listed on Nasdaq on November 6, 2013, selling 7.7 million shares at $16.50 to raise about $127 million at a valuation reported at the time as roughly $750–800 million (TechCrunch, November 5, 2013). It was then the largest-ever U.S. IPO by an Israeli company, per contemporaneous coverage. A previous version of this article headlined the 2013 listing as a “$10 billion IPO” — that figure was a later market capitalization, not the IPO valuation, and the two differ by more than 12x. Revenue in the IPO year was around $80 million; the company has grown roughly 25-fold since.
Base44 and the AI line item
The newest revenue driver is an acquisition. In June 2025 Wix bought Base44, a “vibe coding” app builder run by solo founder Maor Shlomo, for about $80 million in cash plus earn-outs — a startup roughly six months old at the time (TechCrunch, June 18, 2025). By Wix's March 2026 report, Base44 had reached $100 million of ARR, and in August 2026 the company said it was on the way toward its next milestones with new-cohort bookings accelerating. For a business adding roughly $230 million of revenue a year, an acquired product ramping from zero to $100 million of ARR inside a year is material, and it is the clearest sign of where Wix thinks the next act is: AI-generated sites and apps rather than drag-and-drop alone.
What we corrected, and what we couldn't check
This page replaces an earlier article that failed our sourcing audit. Specifics, so you can weigh the rest: it called the 2013 IPO a “$10 billion IPO” while the IPO valued Wix near $800 million; it claimed Slack rode freemium to “$3 billion in revenue in three years,” which never happened (Slack's last full year as a standalone public company was under $1 billion); it cited a 10% free-to-paid conversion rate that contradicts Wix's own subscriber counts; and it dressed a 40% cumulative 2020–2022 revenue gain (about 18.5% a year) up as a growth rate that “outpaced competitors.” It also leaned on interview quotes we could not verify, so none of them survive here.
One more disclosure: GetLatka's own database does not currently have a live company page for Wix — our directory skews toward private SaaS companies that report numbers to us directly, and Wix has reported to the SEC since 2013. Every figure on this page therefore comes from Wix's filings and press releases, not from our database.
The short version, if you landed here from a search: Wix revenue was $1.99 billion in 2025, it is growing about 15% in 2026, and the numbers are audited, filed, and linked below.
