He currently serves as CEO of Advantek Waste Management Services (AWMS), a TPG-backed company dedicated to using injection wells to reduce the impacts to air, water, land, and climate from industrial activities. Mr. Abou-Sayed spun AWMS out of Advantek International, a global oilfield consulting firm focused on hydraulic fracturing, geomechanics, and oilfield waste management. Omar had previous architected Advantek International's strategy and served as a director of the company since its founding in 1999. Previous to joining Advantek, he served as the Vice President of Strategy and Planning for Elevance Renewable Sciences, a TPG and Total Ventures backed renewable chemical company.
