CEO

Nameet Potnis is a serial entrepreneur. He started his career as a photojournalist and has worked with magazines and publications such as Hindustan Times, Outlook, Times of India, DNA, Disney Adventures, TimeOut Mumbai, TopGear, B.B.C. Good Homes, National Geographic Online, Planet Eye, Morning Herald and so on. After pursuing professionalphotojournalism, he joined an Events company Twohands Events in 2006 and rose to the level of a Partner. During his stint with Twohands Events, he worked with several clients including Make-a-wish Foundation, Rotary International, Red FM,High Street Phoenix, Atria Mall, K Raheja Group, Red Label, NIIT and Elf among others. Following his passion for food, he co-founded Cafe Ext.202 with Radhika Mehta, in 2008. Cafe Ext.202 was based in Lower Parel, Mumbai. Nameet holds a Bachelors in Mass Media with a specialisation in Journalism from the University of Mumbai. A Diploma in Advertising and Public Relation from Welingkar Institute of Management and a Master in Business Administration (Salutatorian) from University of Bradford. After living in Singapore for two years, he currently resides in Mumbai. He is presently the Co founder and CEO of Apptuse.com in Mumbai, India. He has extensive experience in the Payments and Commerce industry including product management, product strategy, product marketing, managing complex projects, leading high-performing teams and building customer relationships. He built the Longtail payments vertical for PayU to enable the SMB's to come online in a simple, secure and easy way. He has built and led teams that have on-boarded 2M+ businesses on to our platforms and have partnered with multiple banks, payments gateways and telecom operators globally. He has also built 2 companies in the E-commerce enabler space and hence have expertise in payments, commerce, and financial services including a strong understanding of payment processing, as well as the life-cycle of e-commerce merchants. He also set up the curriculum for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course for Masters Students at the University of Mumbai and have been overseeing it since 2014.
