They can become unstable at high temperatures, or may not “fit” correctly onto another chemical that a scientist is trying to study. In an ideal world, researchers would be able to design the correct proteins for their experiments like puzzle pieces that snap neatly into place. That's where Cradle comes in. The company boasts an AI program that it claims can allow any scientist to make a desired protein, theoretically paving the way for advancements in vaccines, antibody treatments, and other therapeutics.
