CEO of HomeSphere―the country’s largest marketplace serving the residential construction industry. At HomeSphere, they are dedicated to connecting local home builders to building product manufacturers through our technology, tools and services. Theyprovide access to the products builders want and need, incentive management programs and valuable market data to assist in decision making. He joined HomeSphere as the senior vice president and CMO in 2004. Four years later, he was named president and COO by HomeSphere’s board of directors, and in 2015, assumed the CEO role after leading a management buyout of the company. Throughout his tenure, his team has developed strategies and tactics to expand sales and marketing, including the implementation of an automated, sales-force effectiveness’ program and company-wide, brand redevelopment to drive rapid growth. In addition,they optimized HomeSphere’s organizational development processes and led the company’s strategic direction. Prior to HomeSphere, he spent 17 years with Sherwin-Williams (NYSE: SHW) where he held many sales and operations’ roles culminating in his role as vice president of architectural marketing. He was responsible for new product development and the implementation of marketing programs to drive the growth of Sherwin-Williams’ multi-billion-dollar architectural product line sold nationally through more than 2,600 company-owned stores. He is a frequent contributor to building trade publications, a speaker at key industry conferences and a past member of the Painting and Decorating Contractors Association Committee, charged with writing the painting curriculum for the National Center for Construction Education and Research in Washington, D.C. My professional affiliations include the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI).
